WEDDING VISUAL SYSTEM:
Concept to Execution

This project explores the use of AI as a tool for visual concept development. Initial outputs were generated to explore variations in composition, colour, and mood, then critically evaluated and refined into a cohesive visual system.

The final direction was translated into structured, real-world design decisions, ensuring both aesthetic consistency and practical execution.

VISUAL DIRECTION

  • Colour Palette: Sage, vintage pink, black, and white

  • Mood: Soft, romantic, minimal with structured contrast

  • Materials: Chiffon, eucalyptus, hydrangeas, candles, matte black elements

PROCESS

  • Generated initial visual explorations using AI tools to test variations in composition, palette, and mood

  • Curated outputs based on cohesion and emotional tone

  • Refined selected directions into a unified visual system

  • Translated visual concepts into structured specifications (floral quantities, layout planning, material selection)

This work demonstrates the ability to translate human input into structured visual outputs through controlled prompting and iterative refinement.

DESIGN THINKING

  • Composition: Aisle and table layouts guide the viewer’s eye using repetition and spacing

  • Balance: Symmetry in ceremony design vs. controlled asymmetry in table styling

  • Contrast: Soft organic florals balanced with structured black elements

  • Repetition: Consistent use of colour and materials across all elements

  • These decisions ensured visual clarity while maintaining emotional consistency across all elements.

TRANSLATION TO EXECUTION

AI-generated concepts were adapted into real-world constraints, including:

  • Defined floral quantities and placement

  • Scaled-back styling for practicality and cost

  • Structured layouts for tables and signage

The result is a cohesive visual system that maintains its integrity from concept through to real-world application.
