Student Engagement & Cognitive Learning Design
This project involved designing and delivering a professional development workshop for Novakid teachers. The objective was to improve student engagement, motivation, and task completion in online lessons by applying principles of cognitive load theory and visual communication.
The workshop demonstrated how infographics, clear lesson structuring, props, and reward systems can simplify instructions, reduce overwhelm, and help students stay focused.
This project showcases my strengths in instructional design, presentation development, visual communication, teacher training, and translating learning theory into practical classroom strategies.

Workshop
This workshop was designed for Novakid teahers with the intent to improve student engagement and task completion and the core message is to make learning feel less overwhelming by helping teachers to use infographics and props to reduce the extaneous load and support germane cognitive processing.

Designed a supporting infographic toolkit for teachers to apply workshop strategies in real lessons. Resources focused on simplifying instructions, increasing student participation, and improving task completion through visual learning aids.
